Twin Cities metro
Washer and dryer rental in the Twin Cities.
Month-to-month washer and dryer rental for Twin Cities homes, delivered, installed, and serviced by the licensed trades the work requires. One flat amount a month, every repair included, and you can stop whenever you want.
$65 a month for the pair, plus any sales tax that applies. Delivery, installation, every repair and the pickup at the end are inside that number rather than billed on top of it.
No deposit, no credit check, and nothing charged when you apply. A person reads your form and confirms everything by email before a delivery is scheduled.
This is a rental, not a purchase. You never own the machines. There is no buyout, no rent-to-own, and no long-term contract.
Who this is for
Renting a washer makes sense for some households and is a bad deal for others. Here is the honest split, up front, before you spend any time on us.
A good fit
- You rent, or you expect to move again within a few years
- You just moved in and need laundry working without a large purchase
- Your building has a coin-op room in the basement and hookups in your unit
- Buying used feels like a gamble you do not want to take on somebody's driveway
- You own a few rental units and want laundry in them without owning and fixing machines
A bad fit
- You are staying put for years, in which case buying a washer is cheaper and we will say so
- You want to end up owning the machines, because there is no path to that here by design
- Your home has no laundry hookups, since we install onto existing ones
- You are outside the seven-county Twin Cities metro
How it works
-
Tell us where you are
Your address, whether your dryer hookup is gas or electric, and whether you rent. We do not check credit, and we do not charge a deposit or an application fee.
-
We deliver and install
The machines are carried in and hooked up to your existing hookups by somebody licensed for that work. Delivery and installation are both in the monthly price.
-
Do your laundry
One flat amount a month. Breakdowns get fixed at no charge. When you are done, tell us and we come and get them.
The full version, step by step, including what happens when something breaks and how the rental ends.
What it costs
$65 a month for a washer and dryer, plus any sales tax that applies. Delivery, installation, every repair, and pickup at the end are inside that number rather than billed on top of it.
The same amount in month one and month thirty. There is no introductory rate that steps up later, no deposit, no delivery charge, and no fee for ending the rental.
Start your rental
One form: who you are, where the machines are going, and whether your dryer hookup is gas or electric. It takes a few minutes. No credit check, no deposit, and nothing is charged when you send it.

When something goes wrong
Renting from a small company is only worth doing if you can reach somebody when the washer stops. Here is what that looks like.
Repairs cost you nothing
Parts and labor both, for as long as you have the machines. We agree the response window with you by email when we schedule the repair.
You reach a person
Write to matt@loonappliance.com. No ticket queue, and no phone tree built to talk you out of cancelling.
You can stop any time
Tell us and we schedule a pickup. No cancellation fee, no early-termination penalty, and nothing owed past the month you are in.
What the rent includes, what we do not do, and how long each step takes is on the how it works page.
